Monroe, OR to Alsea, OR – 25.8 miles – Take
a leisurely ride into the Oregon Coastal mountains from Monroe to the small logging town of Alsea. The road is paved and in very good condition and the scenery is beautiful, with tall Douglas Fir trees, fern and moss
covered forest floors and the Alsea Falls at the Alsea Falls Park and picnic area. And if you
didn’t have picnic food with you when you stopped at the Aslea Falls park, you can fill up at Deb’s Kountry Kitchen in Alsea, where you are sure to find food that will please.
If you have ever taken this road or if you have questions, feel free to comment.
